This is a fun book that can be slightly relateable to kids around middle school age.
It’s a story about a girl discovering who she is in a really quirky family. Her little sister is a genius, her parents are obsessed with Shakespeare, and she’s stuck named after The Prince of Denmark himself.
She winds up going through a lot of things that a lot of people go through. First crushes. People who are mean to you just because they can be. Anxiety inducing moments especially those involved with her parents showing up at school or with her getting called up to the office. Needing help with a school subject. Helping her sister realise that her friends aren’t really her friends and are just using her (which for her and everyone I know–including myself– is a really hard thing to hear and acknowledge). All of it part of the growing up experience
All in all it’s a nice light-hearted story that people can relate to and is nice to read in between heavier material type books.
