Apollyon
Apollyon by Jennifer L. Armentrout

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Content warnings: violence, classism (that can also be inferred to racism), religion (in the form of Ancient Greek), attempted forced servitude, manipulation, attempts at using someone against their will, death, murder, attempts at taking someone’s willpower away, torture

Second to last book. Thank the gods. Seriously.

This is all about Aiden saying literally the only Greek phrase he apparently knows (minus the novella before when he was forcing Alex against her will with the elixir) to Alex over and over in hopes that she disconnects with Seth.

I STILL DESPISE Seth. He is absolutely irredeemable in my eyes.

I’m still rooting for everyone to be destroyed. And still can’t stand Alex’s whiny bitchiness.

Totally called which god was responsible. The chaos after was fun to read. As was the fairly graphic description of him breaking her. That was beautiful to read (or wait is that the next book? Shit. I’ve already finished the last so I’m slightly confusing stories).

Anyway decent book. Oh and a bit into the underworld.
