Carrot Cake Murder
Carrot Cake Murder by Joanne Fluke
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Content warnings: death, attempted drowning

*sigh* Same shit, different book. Still polyamourous relationship that refuses to get acknowledged. Instead it’s “oh no I HAVE to make a decision eventually and marry one of them since they both proposed”. And still major hypocrisy on Hannah’s part in regards to Mike.

Hannah’s mother is still annoying as hell. Hannah still sticks her nose into the investigations for the police department when she shouldn’t (though at this point, Mike has caught on and has decided that he’ll give her SOME information but not all and use her as a resource). And still stumbles upon the murderer.

Some good recipes in here though. That at least is the only constant that doesn’t bother me.

As I’ve said before, If you enjoy fluff mysteries you’ll enjoy this. If you don’t then don’t try to read it.
