I received a free ARC from NetGalley for a fair and honest review.

I REALLY enjoyed this book.

Not only did this go into what toxic relationships can look like AND the recovery of said toxic relationships. It also showed that not all toxic relationships are a male/female dichotomy. And that men aren’t the only causes of them. It also showed a healthy relationship and what that can look like. And showed someone coming out of a relationship with a lot of jealousy who thought they were over it but turns out they weren’t and how they dealt with it.

The best part of this all for me was that the healthy relationship was two women and one of whom was pregnant during the book. Because holy crap. And the fact that the pregnant one was friends with her ex and her, her ex, and her wife were all comfortable and ok with each other. It was close to almost being a poly relationship but was just this side of not being one.

It was a fantastic book about love, losing love, and finding yourself after all that happens.

I very much enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend this to others.
