I received a free audio copy from the author in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Wow. This book. I mean seriously. THIS BOOK. I didn’t want to put it down. And that’s a rarer thing that happens for me when it comes to books featuring current or former military people.

And the dealing with abusive ex. There are very few ways that I would really deem appropriate. And the way this book did it? Magnificent. I literally couldn’t have written it better. Though, the love of guns thing I could seriously do without. But that’s my own personal thing. I adored the fact that the guys not only kept an eye out for her but they also taught her how to help protect herself so she could deal with things if she needed to. Instead of just treating her like she was a helpless woman.

This is a good story of healing and moving on from an abusive relationship. I would definitely recommend this to others to read. This is also a book that I own both in ebook and audiobook format.
